Changelog
Here you can find list of recent changes.
2026-09-23
- An AI assistant such as Claude can now be connected to your account, to fill in cards, rework their text, draw SVG icons and bring in artwork from a link. See Connect an AI assistant; connected assistants are listed, and can be disconnected, on the account page.
- The editor no longer saves over changes made to the same project somewhere else — by an assistant, or in another tab. It says the project changed and asks you to reload instead.
- An open editor shows changes made to its project somewhere else — by an assistant, or in another tab — within a few seconds, without reloading the page.
- Cards can be exported to a CSV file and imported back, from the import/export panel in the editor: there is a row for every card and a column for every field, so a whole deck can be filled in a spreadsheet.
- Projects can be renamed from the project list: “rename” turns the name into a box to type the new one in.
- Projects can be duplicated. The “duplicate” link in the project list makes a copy with its cards and artwork, to try something out or to start a new game from an old one without touching the original.

- Generating PDF and PNG works again. The release on the 21st stopped both: the generator could not start, and instead of saying so the panel sat there saying it was still working. If you tried to export a project and nothing ever arrived, that was this, and it was not anything about your project or its size.
- Artwork is drawn into exported PDFs and PNGs again. Cards whose images came out blank export with their images now.
- When an export does fail, it says what went wrong instead of waiting forever.
2026-09-21
- Card-a-mon has accounts now. Sign in with your email address — a link arrives in your inbox, and there is no password to choose or forget.
- Your projects are saved to your account instead of to the browser you made them in, so the same work opens on your laptop and your phone.
- Projects you made before this are still in the browser that made them. The first time you open your projects, Card-a-mon offers to bring them across, artwork and all. Nothing is removed from the browser.
- The pages around the editor were rebuilt and are much quicker to load. The editor itself works as it did.
- You can delete your account, and everything in it, from the account page.
- You can also download everything the account holds from that page: the SQLite database your projects, cards and uploaded images are kept in, as one file that any tool reading SQLite can open.
- There are now privacy, terms of use and GDPR pages, linked from the footer of every page: what is kept, where it is kept, and what your rights over it are.
