Make your own sports cards

A card for every player on the team: football cards with a rating, a position and attack, defence and skill, or hockey and baseball cards with a photo on the front and the season's stats on the back. Design them free in your browser, and print them at home or at a print shop.

Three steps to a set of sports cards

  1. Pick a card

Start from the player card — a collectible football card with a rating badge, the club crest and three ratings — or from the sports card, with the photo on the front and the bio and a stats table on the back. Draw it in your team's colour.

  2. Add your players

Upload a photo of each player and type in the name, number, position and stats. For the whole squad, export the cards as a spreadsheet, a row per player, fill it in and import it back.

  3. Print them

Get a PDF with cut marks to print at home, fronts and backs lined up for double-sided printing, or a PNG of every card with the bleed a print shop asks for, to have them printed on card stock.

For every team and every sport

Football, hockey, baseball, basketball, rugby, cricket or netball: rename the stats to what your sport counts — goals, assists, points, saves, runs — and swap the crest for your club's. Make a set for the whole team at the end of the season, a card for a young fan's birthday, a thank-you for a coach, or a pack for a school sports day.

Hockey, baseball or basketball cards?

Start from the sports card: the player's photo in a frame with their number and name on the front, and on the back their height, weight and where they were born, a table of their stats season by season with the totals, and a few words about them. It starts as a hockey team; rename the columns for any sport.

Questions

Is it free?
Yes. Everything Card-a-mon does is free, with 100 MB for images and fonts and one deck hosted for Play online; paid plans, on the Pricing page, give more room. All you need to sign in is an email address. There is no tracking and no advertising.
Can I make football cards like the ones collected in packs?
Yes. The player card is laid out the way collectible football cards are: the rating and position on a gold badge, the club crest, the player, the name on a plate, and attack, defence and skill. The design is your own, with your own players and club: Card-a-mon uses no league's, club's or card maker's name or artwork.
Can the cards be two-sided?
Yes. The sports card has a back of its own on every card, with that player's bio and stats. The player card is one-sided, or pick a back for it when you start: a pattern or a plain back with your team's name on it.
How do I print two-sided cards at home?
Print the PDF on both sides of the paper, flipping on the long edge: every page of fronts is followed by a page of their backs, laid out so that each back lands behind its own front.
Can I use photos of my players?
Yes. Upload PNG or JPEG photos and put one on each card. A photo with a transparent background, the player cut out, stands on the player card's ground the way it does on a card from a pack.
Can I change the stats?
Yes. Rename attack, defence and skill, or the columns of the stats table, to what your sport counts, and type in each player's numbers on the card or in a spreadsheet.
What size are the cards?
Poker size, 63.5 × 88.9 mm (2.5 × 3.5 in) — the size of most sports cards — unless you pick another: bridge, tarot and the other sizes print shops sell, or one of your own.
Do you print and send the cards?
No. Card-a-mon makes the files: you print them yourself, or upload them to a print shop, which prints the cards and sends them to you.

Your team's first card is a click away.
